KRFP COMMUNITY ARTS AND EVENT JANUARY 4th 2011

THIS IS MAREE MCHUGH WITH THE KRFP ARTS AND EVENT CALENDAR.

JOIN THE LATAH COUNTY HUMAN RIGHTS TASK FORCE FOR THEIR ANNUAL MARTIN LUTHER KING HUMAN RIGHTS COMMUNITY BREAKFAST ON SATURDAY JANUARY 14TH AT THE MOSCOW JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL . THE KEYNOTE SPEAKERS FOR THIS YEARS BREAKFAST WILL BE CIVIL RIGHTS FREEDOM RIDERS HELEN AND ROBERT SINGLETON. ROSA PARKS HUMAN RIGHTS ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS WILL BE PRESENTED, THE MOSCOW HIGH SCHOOL GLEE CLUB WILL PERFORM, AND OTHER SPECIAL ACTIVITIES ARE PLANNED TO CELEBRATE THIS YEARS EVENT .

BREAKFAST WILL BE SERVED AT 9 A.M. TICKETS ARE 8$ FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND $4 FOR STUDENTS AND MAY BE PURCHASED AT PARADISE RIDGE CD’S LOCATED AT 117 East 3rd St.

THE PRICHARD GALLERY’S ANNUAL FACULTY ART EXHIBIT CONTINUES THROUGH JANUARY 22ND.  PRICHARD GALLERY IS LOCATED AT 416 S. MAIN ST AND IS OPEN TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M. TO 8 P.M. AND ON SUNDAYS FROM 10 A.M. TO 6 P.M.

THE AUDITORIUM CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES PRESENTS THE YING QUARTET THURSDAY JANUARY 26TH AT 7:30 P.M. IN THE UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AUDITORIUM.

TICKETS ARE $20 GENERAL ADMISSION, 17$ FOR SENIORS AND $10 FOR STUDENTS AND MAY BE PURCHASED AT THE PRICHARD GALLERY IN DOWNTOWN MOSCOW OR ON-LINE AT AUDITORIUMCHAMBERMUSIC.ORG.

THE 10TH ANUAL WINTER SOLSTICE EXHIBIT CONTINUES AT THE THIRD STREET GALLERY THROUGH JANUARY 22ND. THE GALLERY IS LOCATED IN MOSOCW CITY HALL AT 206 E THIRD STREET AND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 A.M. TI L5 P.M.

THE LEWIS AND CLARK STATE COLLEGE CENTER FOR ARTS AND HISTORY LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF 5TH AND MAIN IN HISTORIC DOWNTOWN LEWISTON HAS SEVERAL SHOWS OPENING JANUARY 13TH AND CONTINUING THROUGH APRIL 6TH.,

DOUG DAVIDSON: THE FACE OF PERU; LUDMILLA PAREZ SASKOVA: THE GOOD GIRL, AND KARRI DIEKEN: CONVERSATIONS IN A SEA OF LAND. OPENING RECEPTION FOR THIS EXHIBITION OF VIDEO, PHOTOGRAPHY AND INSTALLATION OF PRINTED MIXED MEDIA WILL BE JANUARY 13TH FROM 4 TO 7 PM.

MAYA LIN’S “CONFLUENCE PROJECT: REIMAGINAING THE COLUMBIA RIVER “CONTINUES THROUGH FEBRUARY 10TH.

ADMISSION TO THE CENTER FOR ARTS AND HISTORY IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FROM 11 AM TO 4 PM THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.
