Join Heart of the Arts for Winter Market this Saturday March 3^rd at the 1912 Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market will feature artisan breads, fresh produce, eggs, arts and crafts vendors. and a free children’s activity. Chili in bread bowls will be available for lunch. While you are at the Market, stop by the KRFP booth, pick up a program schedule, bumper sticker and learn more about your community radio station. This will be the last market until Farmer’s Market begins in May. Don’t miss it.

The Washington Idaho Symphony and the Palouse Choral Society are joining forces for the first time in over a decade on March 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, to present “A Gift of Music: A Community Celebration” 7:30pm in the University of Idaho Administration Auditorium March 2nd and 3rd, and at 3:00pm in the Clarkston High School Auditorium March 4^th. The concert will feature the music of Mozart, Schumann, and Faure.

The Lewis and Clark State College Center for Arts and History is featuring

artist Youdhisthir Maharjan’s show Swayambhu. This show opens March 2^nd and runs through April 6^th. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.. The Prichard Gallery’s current show “Uncommon Rivers” brings together a group of national and international artists whose works explore the concept of rivers from a variety of perspectives. The gallery is located in downtown Moscow at 414 S. Main and is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and Sundays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m

Third Street Gallery’s Arts and Travel Show continues through March 23^rd.

Third Street Gallery is located at 206 E. Third Street, hours are M-F 8-5 pm.

And be sure to Visit the Winter Hallway Show “This and That” at the 1912 Center . This show provides an interactive and interesting exhibit by local artists for the whole family and will continue through the end of March.

The topic for the March 7^th Moscow League of Women Voters presentation will be “Japanese Internment Camp in Kooskia” by historian and author Priscilla Wegars, at noon in the Fiske room at the 1912 Center. The public is invited to attend.

The University of Idaho Women’s Center will host the Lunafest Women’s Film Festival March 8^th at 7:30 p.m. at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Center in downtown Moscow.

LUNAFEST is a national touring film festival that showcases original short films by, for, and about women. A special pre-screening reception will start at 6:30 p.m. with beverages by Camas Prairie Winery. LUNAFEST is a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Fund which supports research into the environmental causes of breast cancer. The pre-function tickets are $12. Admission to the films are $6. This Saturday night March 3rd join the KRFP DJ’s for a Full Power MardiGras Party! Tickets for dinner are sold out but you can still join the fun.
