On Tuesday, May 21st, voters can cast ballots in one contested North Latah Highway District Commission Race.
The two candidates are incumbent Lee Horning of Deary and challenger Shawn Farley of Troy. In these interviews, they discuss their views on the Idaho Transportation Department’s proposed eastern (E-2) alignment of U.S. 95 for the widening project for the six miles immediately south of Moscow, their final say on approving 129,000 pound semi-trucks on certain roads, and other issues facing the Highway District.

The winner gets a 4 -year term. The other North Latah Highway Commissioners are Rich Hansen of Potlatch, who is running unopposed this year, and Charles Bond of Moscow, who has two years remaining in his term.
