Third Street Gallery’s Arts and Travel Show continues with a gallery reception Wednesday, February 22 from 5pm – 7pm featuring an Artist Talk by Matthew Brehm Associate Professor at the University of Idaho College of Art & Architecture. Third Street Gallery is located at 206 E. Third Street, hours are M-F 8-5 pm.

Visit Winter Hallway Show at the 1912 Center . This show provides an interactive and interesting exhibit by local artists for the whole family.

Gritman Medical Center is showcasing Kendrick –Julietta Arts Committee and Friends in the Conference Center at Gritman located at 700 S. Main St.

On February15th Mayor Nancy Chaney will present a “State of the City “ address at noon at the University Inn Best Western. This presentation is sponsored by the Moscow League of Women Voters and is open to the public.

The WSU school of Music University Singers will sing and narrate the story of the American Civil Rights movement in a performance “Singing for Justice” on Thursday February 16th at 8PM in Bryan Hall Theater on WSU” campus. Gospel recording artist Marilyn Keller will join the University Singers in this free performance. Call 509-335-7186 for more information.

Palouse Folklore Society presents auto-harp master Bryan Bowers in a special Concert at 3p.m. Sunday, February 19th at the 1912 Center. Tickets available at the door.

The 45th Lionel Hampton International Jazz Festival happens February 22nd through the 25th on the University of Idaho campus. This world class festival offers workshops and performances. Go to uidaho.edu/jazzfest for schedules and tickets.

Free Ballroom Dance Workshops are sponsored by Gritman Medical Center on Wednesday, February 22nd . At 3:15 learn Salsa with Patrick Barnes and at 4:30 do the American Foxtrot with Katelyn Parenti. The workshops are free, no experience is necessary, bring a partner or come solo to the Martin Wellness Center at 510 Palouse River Drive.
